Light set up

I used natural lighting for the first half of the shoot. I wanted to go back and re-attempt natural lighting in a shaded area, as I previosuly used strong sun light which created some shadow areas under the subjects eyes. My chosen magazine 1 Granary often uses natural lighting for their work so I felt it was important to get the lighting correct.

I also used some flash from my camera in the second half of the shoot to create some seperation between the subject and the background and to make the colours pop.

This is my final shoot of the project. I decided to go back and try natural lighting after having a couple of failed attempts earlier in the project. I used a shaded area, suggested in my feedback and found that with the right exposure I was able to achieve so good outcomes. I also went into the sunlight more and used flash to balance out the lighting and create a sepreation with the background. In the editing process I will make subtle changes such as cropping and lightening images.
