This is one of my favourite images from the shoot. I referred to my reseach and used a plant as a prop. I think the outcome is quite simple but effective. In the editing process I want to brighten the image, especially the eye area.
I began by lifting the exposure, shadows and enhancing the clarity. This improved the image and made the outcome more even and better lit.
Brightening the eye area using dodge tool made the eyes more visible. I also used the sharpen tool to make them more intense and sharp.
The outcome is much better than before. The eye area is a lot more visible. I feel as if this could potentially be one of my final outcomes.
Overall I am pleased with the outcomes of the edits, but am unsure of how many I could use, due to the dark under eye area. I will avoid this in future shoots and make sure I use a white card or reflector.
