Outline: I will be completing my first shoot for my studio project. I have completed a few practitioner researches and feel like I know the direction I want to take my project and feel ready to shoot. I plan to do this shoot tomorrow and spend the evening editing, evaluating and finding ways to improve.
Target audience: My target audience for the images are young adults, of a student/ grad background who are interested in art and fashion. I will keep this in mind whilst shooting and make sure I refer to my chosen magazine, 1 Granary.
Lighting: For this shoot I will use flash. My aim is to make the subject pop and stand out and I will do this by using the flash on my camera.
Background: I will use several backgrounds outside. I plan to use a black fence, flowers, grass and a bench as backdrops and will adjust accordingly during the shoot.
Subject: I will be using my younger sister as I am limited with my options due to the restrictions regarding covid 19. I chose her as she has brightly coloured hair, which I thought would work with the type of shoot I am planning and would be relevent to my target audience.
Clothes/props:
Goal: To achieve atleast one image out of four for final outcomes
Inspiration: My inspiration comes from thestyle present in the magazine, 1 Granary.
Style:

Much like Chacon, I would like to use backgrounds as a way of bringing more depth to my work, planning a way of separating the subject, but also bringing a relationship to give it purpose, perhaps through colours or props. In my work, I would like the backgrounds to be purposeful and not a distraction. I will also consider using props to benefit the scene, rather than take away from it.

I would like to use this series as inspiration for my work. I would like to think and plan colours that will be used, from clothes, to the subjects hair and backgrounds. I would like to use sunlight to emphasise tones and create a similar almost surreal lighting to add more depth to a standard fashion shot.
