This is an example of a layout that works well. I like the simplicity of it and how the images flow well. I would consider also have one page with a title, one with a large image amd writing and then a doubl spread containing 4 images. I will experiment with this design to see how it looks in response to my story.
This is another example of using text to benefit the story and images. The photographs grab your attention and visually explain the subject/story and the text gives a more in depth analysis.
