The layout of a photo-story in a magazine is really important. The images have to flow and work together, as well as seperatley. It is also important that the text that accompanies the images works well to bring the whole magazine together. For my final outcome I am producing a magazine and am going to look into layouts to make sure I find the best way to present my work.
I decided to draw out some templates of how I could present my magazine spread. I looked at magazines fo reference, especially National Geographic which is my chosen magazine. I have found that making templates is helpful in having an idea of what to do. As I haven’t previosuly used indesign this will give me a clearer plan of how to set it all out and make the process a lot faster and smoother. It will also give me the opportunity to experiment further and make any adjustments digitally.
