My photo-story is going to be on documenting the Pandemic. I would like the story to be informative and interesting. Looking at work being published on the subject, I have found due to the global effect of the virus there are a lot of mediums publishing work on the subject, especially photo-stories. In terms of magazines/newspapers for publication, my aim would be for a magazine like TIME. I feel as if the images they have already published on the subject are of the same style I would like to achieve. They genreally
Magnum is also a publication I would like my work to be suitable for. They use photo-stories to show the documentation of the pandemic. They tend to present their photo-stories on a page online. They show each image singularly accompanied by text beneath the image. In total the amount of images vary but genreally are atleast 5 images long. The layout changes, depending on the subject and theme, One story I have looked at shows images singualrly and then some are in pairs which works well.
This is an example of using two images together. The colours, tone and composition of the image compliment eachother and work better togther than they would alone. They have also presented singular images that work better alone, which brings a good flow.
