Jonas Bendiksen
“This quarantine feeling of standstill and peace is elusive here… Time to reflect and step out of the hustle and bustle… But instead, full-time in wonderful but nonstop 2-4 year old world, cleaning Legos, making lunches, running outside, etc, etc.”

This image by Jonas Bendiksen stood out to me. The use of shadows and contrast work really well in telling a story. We can see the realtionship between father and daughter, as they play together, making shadow puppets. The image works well in showing the actual subjects, as well as the shadows being projected. The lighting source seems to be some kind of torch next to the subjects. The image has been taken as a landscape with some furniture and bedding breaking up the shot. The image seems to be taken at a high iso, as there is little lighting and the image is slighty grainy, suggesting it is around 800. The shutter speed seems to be reasonably fast, due to there being movement that has been frozen without blur, potentially at around 1/100. The aperature seems to be around f/11. The camera is behind the subjects, slightly leaning towards the right.
I would also like to include so creative lighting in my work to add more technical skills to a standard shot.
