AD4803 Street//Adjusted proposal

As I am no longer able to produce my intial idea of shooting street photography in Bristol, I am adjusting my proposal. I have decided to use the current pandemic as a way of documenting life within isolation. I plan to carry on with my 30 days and 30 nights, only adjusting the kind of photography I will be producing. I will be producing work from home most days, so I am going to be using photography techniques, such as lighting, shadows and breaking up a frame, as a way of keeping the images more interesting and experimenting. I also plan to use the pandemic as a way of telling a story for each shoot and outcome. I will be mostly documenting my household, which consists of, my dad and younger sister. I would like to complete portraits and hope to document their journeys of keeping busy and the realities of being in isolation for a long period of time. I will be looking at various artists and their approach to shooting whilst in lockdown. I will use others work as inspiration and try to recreate the kind of style they have produced.

I am going to be producing another 30 days, which will be 30 days of isolation. As I do more research my images will change and hopfully improve. For my last 30 days I didn’t do much research and almost approached it with no path. I liked having the freedom of shooting as I saw, but this time plan to be more prepared and look at the same things in an alternative, more technical way in order to produce better outcomes.
